▎ 摘  要

A microstrip fed graphene based dual-polarized patch antenna is proposed for the first time in THz regime. The antenna is composed of a single graphene patch fed by dual ports oriented orthogonally. These dual-ports provide vertical and horizontal polarized terahertz radiations in their respective port directions. The graphene patch is designed on a silicon substrate for a frequency of 3.98 THz. The proposed dual-polarized antenna provides a maximum return loss of -36 dB, peak gain of 9.6 dB and an efficiency of about 90%. The isolation between the two orthogonal ports are greater than 45 dB. Axial ratio and Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC) are calculated for the proposed antenna. The simulation is carried out using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method in a 3D full wave EM simulator.
