▎ 摘 要
This work aims at evaluating the potentiality of using graphene oxide modified with polycarboxylate-based superplasticizer as a corrosion inhibitor additive for reinforcement steel, by incorporating 0.002 and 0.05 wt.% of graphene oxide (GO) in the cement extract. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, linear polarization resistance, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to investigate the inhibitive effect of GO against steel corrosion. The results indicated that the ratio of 1:8 of GO: polycarboxylate achieved the best level of GO dispersion in the cement extract. Besides, the amount of 0.002 wt.% GO gave the most promising results toward the corrosion inhibiting effect for steel in the studied environment.
