Magneto-transport properties of graphene and graphene/Co have been investigated. Enhanced linear positive magnetoresistance (PMR) of graphene is obtained at room temperature by depositing Co particles on the surface, which introduces strong inhomogeneity. Graphene is still in weakly disordered regime after Co deposition as proved by weak localization effect and Raman spectra. And interfacial hybridization between graphene and Co further enhances spatial fluctuation of carrier density and mobility, inducing a higher PMR which is useful for magnetic sensing at room temperature.
