▎ 摘  要

Arguments are presented to the effect that a first-order transition can occur in which a gas monolayer imbibes within a slit pore, forming an intercalated layer. The calculation is carried out at T=0 for simplicity. The concept of this transition is potentially relevant to structural transitions observed when gas absorbs within metal-organic-framework materials and the response of graphene/silica electronic devices.
