▎ 摘  要

Graphene, the 2D allotrope of carbon is promising industrial material with unique physicochemical properties. In the present study, graphene oxide (GO) was prepared by oxidation of graphite using the hummer's method, while AgNPs were synthesized by green chemistry approach, using combination of two reductants gallic acid (GA) and tri-sodium citrate (Na(3)Ct), simultaneously as capping agents. The UV-visible SPR peak at 420 nm confirmed the successful formation of these NPs. The GO/AgNPs nanocomposites (NCs) was fabricated by homogeneous mixing of the two components. The XRD analysis of the NCs indicated the crystallite size of GO, 10.2 nm and AgNPs size as 37 nm. The presence of oxygenated species, sp(2)-bonded carbon and metallic Ag-o at the coated glassy carbon electrode surface were responsible for the redox process and indicated reversible nature of the process. There-fore, this approach is providing an environmental benign method to construct GO/AgNPs NCs for future industrial applications.
