▎ 摘  要

Graphene nanosheets have multiple uses including the removal of heavy metal ions and cancer photothermal therapy (PTT). Herein, we synthesized CuInS2/ZnS nanocrystals and found that these nanocrystals exhibited both photothermal and photodynamic therapies (PTT and PDT). To improve the biological safety and cancer therapy efficiency of the CuInS2/ZnS nanocrystals, they were incorporated into reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanosheets using PEGylated liposome as linking reagent. The results showed that the toxicity of the CuInS2/ZnS/liposome-rGO nanocomposites could be significantly lower than that of the CuInS2/ZnS/liposome for less leaking of Cu2+ ions from the nanocomposites. In addition, the CuInS2/ZnS/liposome-rGO combined the advantages of its components and strongly exhibited both photothermal conversion and photodynamic properties. The CuInS2/ZnS/liposome-rGO nanocomposites upon 671-nm laser irradiation were highly efficient at inducing apoptosis in human esophagus carcinoma cells in vitro, and reducing the size of tumors (grown from esophageal cancer Eca-109 cells) in mice. The novel nanocomposites containing graphene developed in this work will have potential in medical therapy due to their low toxicity and highly efficient synergistic PTT and PDT properties.
