▎ 摘 要
A terahertz beam steering microstrip patch antenna is designed in this manuscript. The metallic radiating patch is surrounded by six parasitic graphene ribbons which are located at lateral, upper, and lower sides of main radiating patch. The embedded graphene ribbons are employed to change the antenna boresight in theta-constant plane. The states of chemical potential values for graphene elements are switched between 0 and 1 eV to enhance beam steering. Two lateral ribbons with chemical potential of 1 eV act as director elements whereas four upper and lower parasitic elements have reflector role resulting in a deflected beam into opposite direction. As a result, an overall 120 degrees beam steering (30 degrees similar to 150 degrees) is obtained. It is notable that proposed antenna benefits from a fixed operational frequency of 1.47 THz in all considered configurations.
