Perfect absorption (100%) in the visible and infra-red was exhibited in our simulation with absorption-cavity of graphene sandwiched in dielectric layers with matching thicknesses. The effect is a function of incident wavelength, refractive index, dielectric thicknesses, and the number of graphene layers. Simulated electric fields in the structure's vertical cross-section indicates that the resonance absorption is created by a standing wave. High-sensitivity sensing is able to be realized when the symmetrical structure is slightly broken.
