▎ 摘 要
In this study, a simple and economical method of fabricating Ti6Al4V matrix composites with outstanding mechanical properties was developed, in which the graphite (Gr) paper and Ti6Al4V powders were mixed by rock milling and consolidated by spark plasma sintering (SPS). Compared with the conventional Ti6Al4V, the microhardness, the compressive yield strength and the ultimate compressive strength of 0.5 wt% Ti6Al4V-Gr composite were improved by 27%, 42.4% and 34.6%, respectively. The results showed that the strengthening efficiency of the Ti6Al4V-Gr composite rivaled the graphene reinforced titanium matrix composites with conventional processes. This method could be generalized to manufacturing other metal matrix composites strengthened with graphene. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
