▎ 摘 要
Present study aims to investigate tensile fatigue behavior of adhesive single lap joints with a graphene nano -particle modified adhesive (GNP). Carbon fiber reinforced plastic and 3 M DP460 was used as adherend and adhesive, respectively. In addition to the unreinforced adhesive, wt. 0.25%, wt. 0.5% and wt. 1% GNP reinforced adhesives were used. Tensile test results showed that increasing the GNP ratio increased the tensile strength of joints. The interior regions of the overlap region exhibited cohesive substrate failure and fiber tear failure, while the ends of the overlap region exhibited adhesive and cohesive failure. 0.5% GNP reinforced adhesive joints showed the highest fatigue life. Cohesive failure and adhesive failure were the main failure types for lower load levels. Increasing the fatigue load level caused different damage types to occur. The stiffness reduction didn't happen until the very end of the fatigue tests.
