▎ 摘 要
The objective of this work was to stitch the edges of GnPs and utilization of the edge-stitched GnP towards the improvement in the thermal and mechanical performance of epoxy nanocomposite prepared using edge-stitched GnP as fillers. The edge stitching had been carried out via the covalent interaction of amine groups with the acid group present at the edges of GnPs. The successful functionalization of the GnP at the edges had been validated by Raman and X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). The performance of the nanocomposite had been evaluated by Dynamic mechanical analyses (DMA) and Flexural studies which revealed promising results. The prepared nanocomposite showed a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 163.8 degrees C and additionally exhibited a 19.2% increase in flexural modulus compared to neat epoxy.
