▎ 摘 要
Activation of polyacrylonitrile nanofibers incorporated with small amount of ablated gold nanoparticles e.g. 0.01%, 0.02% and 0.03% (w/v) is reported. Only the 0.02% sample kept the original fibrous form after activation. The average diameter of the precursor nanofibers (123 nm) increased to 165 nm after activation in the presence of gold nanoparticles. A mono crystalline morphology was observed for the gold nanoparticles in the activated carbon nanofibers as before activation. It was concluded that the presence of gold nanoparticles played a considerable role during the activation process of the supporting matrix. The electrical resistance of the activated carbon nanofibers containing gold nanoparticles was 9.2 x 10(-3) omega m which was very similar to that of graphene. The high likelihood of the formation of graphene as a result of the activation of PAN nanofibers in the presence of gold nanoparticles, can be a potential candidate for a new approach to fabricate graphene nanofibers.
