The detection of glucose has been attracting more and more attention. The present work provided a novel glucose sensor based on graphene/zinc oxide nanoparticle nanocomposite modified Ni foam to fabricate an electrode (G-ZnO/Ni foam). The structure and morphology of the electrode were characterized by SEM, XPS, and XRD. And the electrochemical performance of G-ZnO/Ni foam electrode was evaluated using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and amperometry analysis. The resulting electrode exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the reduction of glucose in a linear range of 50-1000mol with a correlation coefficient of 0.986. The sensitivity of the graphene/zinc oxide nanocomposite modified Ni foam sensor was 1635.52AmM(-1)cm(-2). It is has better electrochemical performance for glucose and is promising in high-sensitivity detection of glucose applications.
