Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is the most promising method to obtain large-area graphene with high quality, but the lack of efficient transfer methods that can maintain this quality still presents as a bottleneck for the various applications of graphene. Here, we present a facile method to transfer CVD-synthesized graphene using the commercially available 3M Nexcare liquid bandage (LB), which is totally compatible with the conventional poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-assisted transfer method. Multiple characterizations demonstrate the higher cleanness, flatness, integrity, electrical performance, and fewer structural defects of LB-derived graphene than the PMMA-derived one, and the low elastic modulus of LB also makes it an ideal candidate for graphene transfer onto rough surfaces. We believe that this transfer agent will offer an opportunity for improving the application of graphene and other two-dimensional materials.
