We explore the energetics for twisted bilayer of circular graphene flake by using the Lennard-Jones potential. We find that the binding energy between the flakes shows characteristic oscillation with increasing the twist angle. This means that twist angles at which the system is locally stable certainly exist. The oscillation is ascribed to systematic changes in Moire patterns accompanied by the twisting, in the stacked structure of the bilayer with edges. Our analyses show that Moire patterns play an essential part in deciding locally stable structures of van der Waals interfaces with edges, no matter how large the system size is.
