▎ 摘  要

Increasing peak amplitude of THz signals plays a key role in applications such as biomedical imaging, biological applications, and security screening. Improving peak amplitude of photoconductive antenna (PCA) has been investigated in this work. The peak amplitude of a PCA depends on several parameters such as electrode material, transmission through photoconductive material, thickness of photoconductive material, and electrode bias voltage. A dielectric with improved periodic nanoslit structure has been suggested and optimized in order that it improves the transmission of incident optical wave through the photoconductive material in both TE and TM polarizations up to %23 and %8.65 respectively. Then a mixed graphene-gold electrodes have been used so as to it may enhance the detected THz signal peak amplitude up to %14.31. Also, the effect of varying the chemical potential, photoconductive thickness, and electrode bias voltage on peak amplitude of the detected THz signal has been investigated. Finally, a design process for improving peak amplitude of the detected THz signal has been mentioned.
