▎ 摘  要

Graphene oxide (GO) has a high proton conductivity and sulfuric acid affinity, which suggests that GO paper can be used as an electrolyte substitute for sulfuric acid in lead-acid batteries. Herein, we report a new type of graphene oxide lead battery (GOLB) that uses a GO paper electrolyte, i.e., a dry lead battery. The GOLB has a very thin (similar to 2 mm) cell size, and the GO paper electrolyte has a thickness of 70 mu m. The stable charge discharge cycles of the GOLB indicate that it is suitable for its use as a small-sized, portable battery comparable to Li-ion batteries. (c) 2014 The Electrochemical Society.
