▎ 摘 要
Coupling graphene or reduced graphene oxide (RGO) with semiconductor photocatalysts has previously been proven to be an effective way for enhancing the photocatalytic activity and stability of the photocatalysts. Herein, the Ag2CO3/reduced graphene oxide composite was successfully prepared by a facile chemical precipitation method. The physical and chemical properties of the photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectra, scanning electron microscope, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, UV-vis diffuse-reflection spectra. The photocatalytic activity and cycling stability of the photocatalysts were evaluated by photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B under visible light irradiation. The results showed that the RGO indeed improves the photocatalytic activity of Ag2CO3/RGO, which can be attributed to the reduced charge recombination and enhanced dye adsorption as well as the light harvesting by RGO. Nevertheless, it played a negative role to the photocatalytic cycling stability due to the strong aggregation of Ag2CO3 particles brought by the RGO sheets. This work may provide a re-examination of the role of RGO in enhancing the photocatalytic performances of the photocatalysts. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
