the THz antenna with multi-band characteristic is interesting for various application such as THz communication. In this paper, a compact THz antenna with dual-band attributes using metamaterial load and the Koch fractal shape is presented for 1 and 1.48 THz. Here, the metamaterial T- shape parasitic loads are used for making dual-band characteristic as a CRLH-TL (composite right/left hand). Finally, a multi-layer graphene load is utilized over a thin layer of the spacer for improving the return loss value by changing the surface impedance of the top layer and gain of the antenna like a stacked layer. The maximum antenna gain is obtained at 7.5 dBi. The RO-5880 with the refractive index of 1.47 is used for the substrate and spacer layer where the total size of the antenna is 100 x 100 mu m(2). The patch size is 60 x 60 mu m(2). The simulations are done based on FIT (Finite integration technique) with CST microwave studio.
