In order to eliminate the disadvantage of neat polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) on cementitious composites, PVA hybrid fibers containing graphene oxide and dispersed silver nanoparticles were prepared and its effect on cementitious composites properties was investigated with the help of principal component analysis. Test results show that an increment ratio was obtained in fracture toughness and electrical resistivity of 47.25% and 88.13% of fiber reinforced mortar with PVA based graphene oxide and silver nanoparticles blended hybrid fibers, respectively. The findings also demonstrated that film thickness and surface roughness have a significant impact on fracture toughness and electrical resistance of fiber reinforced mortars.
