▎ 摘 要
Prevention of electrostatic discharge is a very important aspect of the electronic domain. The development of electrostatic dissipative (ESD) materials is crucial for packaging materials. The present work focuses on chemical-free air plasma-treated graphene oxide (PT GO) loaded polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)/polysulfone (PSF) blends for ESD applications. Molecular vibrations and phases of the host polymer system and filler confirmed by Raman spectroscopy were observed. Decreased intensity and interplanar spacing demonstrate exfoliation of GO due to plasma exposure confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). GO clusters in the host polymer blend system are investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The electrical properties of modified blends are obtained by an impedance analyzer. Enhanced electrical conductivity up to 10(-3) (AC) and 10(-1) (DC) S cm(-1) for plasma-treated samples demonstrated excellent electronic transportation within the polymer matrix mutually matching the ESD. Reduced area under the curve of impedance confirms the increased electrical conductivity of material due to enhanced conducting boundaries because of plasma exposure. Overall, adequate results of the modified polymer blends by plasma-treated GO could be emerging material for ESD applications.
