Manipulating the behavior of electrons in a material is essential for tuning its fundamental properties. The recent exciting experimental observations of extraordinary correlated insulating phase, unconventional superconductivity, and emergent ferromagnetic states on magic-angle twisted bilayer graphene (MATBG) have opened up a new era for "twistronics" and will shed substantial light on materials science and technology. This Perspective is intended to provide a roadmap of MATBG on how it originated, what exotic phenomena have been discovered experimentally, and where the future is headed.
