▎ 摘 要
This work aims to assess the potential of the hybrid filler based on alfa fibers and graphene nanoplatelets (AFGNPs) at different ratios on the features the poly(epsilon-caprolactone) (PCL) matrix using FTIR, RAMAN, TGA and mechanical analyses. The prepared composites through mold casting displayed good thermal behavior compared to pure PCL for which the sample that contains 5 % of the filler exhibits the highest thermal stability. Moreover, the incorporation of 5 % (AF-GNPs) leads to an increase of the tensile strength of the PCL from 13.23 to 14.18 MPa with a Young's Modulus enhancement from 248.75 to 431.15 MPa. Such composites provide an eco-friendly alternative to conventional, petroleum-based and non-renewable composites for numerous uses.
