▎ 摘 要
The influence of adsorption and intercalation of alkali metal atoms (Cs, K, Na) on the field-electron emission from an iridium point emitter with surface graphene islands has been studied. It is established that the intercalation of graphene islands with alkali metal atoms does not lead to significant changes in the emission current. In the case of adsorption of Cs, K, and Na atoms on the emitter surface with graphene islands, the most pronounced decrease in the work function and localization of electron emission are observed for islands situated on the (100) and (111) faces of iridium.
