A theoretical method for calculating the fields inside the Graphene Loaded Equilateral Triangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna (TDRA) and obtaining the resonance frequency of its different radiation modes is presented. The upper surface of the antenna is covered with a graphene sheet, which acts as an impedance surface. By varying the chemical potential of graphene, the value of its surface impedance changes and thus the fields of the modes inside the TDRA and their resonance frequencies are affected. Using the theoretical method and by simulating the structure, the changes in the resonance frequency of several radiation modes of TDRA have been investigated and compared, and a good match between the results has been obtained. In another part of the article, a graphene loaded TDRA is designed using the proposed design formulas and its reflection coefficient and radiation patterns are obtained by simulating the structure.
