▎ 摘  要

Aim of this research paper is to investigate the effect of van der Waals interaction forces on the buckling strength of multiple graphene sheets. In the proposed finite element based modelling scheme, bonded interaction between atoms was simulated with beam elements, whereas non-bonded interactions were modelled with the help of truss elements. It was depicted from the results that van der Waal forces have significant impact on the buckling strength of multiple graphene sheets and the effects was found to be a function of interlayer spacing between two graphene sheets.
