▎ 摘  要

In recent years, the cost-effective fabrication of inorganic materials has received considerable attention from researchers working in various fields. In the current work, we report the ultrasonication assisted synthesis of nickel oxide nanoparticles anchored on graphene oxide nanosheets (NiO/GO). The obtained NiO/GO was characterized by various physicochemical methods and used for the detection of glucose in alkaline medium. The electrochemical results demonstrate that the NiO/GO modified glassy carbon electrode had better electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of glucose than GO and NiO modified electrodes. The amperometric results revealed that the NiO/GO modified electrode response was linear to the glucose concentrations ranging from 0.62 mu M to 2.4 mM. The comparative results (Table 1) confirmed that the fabricated glucose sensor has a lower limit of detection (0.17 mu M) than previously reported non-enzymatic glucose sensors. Besides, the NiO/GO modified electrode has appropriate selectivity for glucose in the presence of various potentially active interfering compounds.
