▎ 摘 要
We demonstrate the synergistic effect of light and magnetic field on electrocatalytic behavior of reduced graphene oxide deposited on Ni foam. In the presence of simultaneous light and magnetic field, the over potential for both oxygen and hydrogen evolution reaction (OER and HER) is reduced considerably by 324 mV and 157 mV, respectively. Dramatically, there is nearly four-fold increase in the current density value to - 122.7 mA cm(-2) at -1 V in hydrogen evolution reaction under the similar conditions. The above procedure can be employed to generate large-scale hydrogen gas as a renewable energy source.
