▎ 摘 要
The interest in graphene has surged over the past few years due to its exceptional mechanical, thermal, electrical, and optical properties, as well as its potential for flexible electronic applications. The traditional batch process for graphene synthesis and transfer need to be replaced by a high throughput, low-cost manufacturing process in order to enable mass production of graphene-based devices. Roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing and its related enabling technologies have been employed for both graphene growth and transfer, the two essential steps in graphene fabrication. It has been demonstrated that large-scale graphene production is feasible and has the potential to achieve economic success in the near future. This review provides an analysis of the state-of-the-art R2R manufacturing techniques for large-scale graphene fabrication. Different growth and transfer methods are compared. The benefit, limitation, and future outlook of R2R graphene fabrication are discussed. It is expected that through this review a benchmark is established for future development in R2R large-scale graphene production. Published by AIP Publishing.
