In this paper, the spin-inversion properties and the current density expression for graphene superlattice with Rashba spin-orbit interaction (RSOI) in the presence of a constant electric field are studied. It is found that the angular range of the spin-inversion can be efficiently controlled by the number of barriers. In addition, the efficiency of spin-inversion decreases in the presence of electric field. As the number of barriers increases, the spin-dependent current density decreases. Furthermore, when an external electric field is present, the spin polarization can be observed, whereas for the RSOI alone it is zero. (C) 2015 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
