▎ 摘 要
Graphene can be used as an anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion layer due to its impermeability to oxygen or etchant and its atomically thin thickness. In this study, monolayer, bi-layer, and multilayer graphene were grown on copper (Cu) wire samples using a low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) process, and their performances for copper wire protection were characterized experimentally. The results show that multilayer graphene provided anti-oxidation protection up to 350 degrees C under continuous heating of 30 min. The etching time of copper wire with multilayer-graphene protection doubled comparing to their bare Cu wire counterparts. Furthermore, multilayer graphene protection significantly reduced the contact resistance between twisted-pair copper wires. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
