▎ 摘  要

The usage of nanomaterials in drug delivery for cancer therapy has been paid significant attention in recent years. Graphene oxide (GO) is an innovative drug-delivery carbon-based nanocarrier system that is utilized mostly due to its unique structural properties. In this work, the reduced graphene oxide (RGO) from GO has been synthesized for the regulated delivery of the natural flavonoid (Rutin) molecules. The synthesized RGO was characterized using different analytical routes such as XRD, FTIR, UV-visible, SEM, and TEM. The bactericidal effect of the prepared RGO nanoparticles was tested against two different microbial pathogens including S.aureus and E.coli bacteria. Between the two kinds of bacterial pathogens, the RGO exhibits slightly enhanced bactericidal for E.coli, and less activity was observed in S.aureus bacteria. Besides, the antimicrobial activity is enhanced by increasing the concentration of RGO dosage. Moreover, human breast cancer MM2 cells were taken for checking the anticancer activity. Furthermore, the rutin-loaded RGO nanomaterials induced apoptotic cell demise in the MM2 cell line by oxidative stress and exhibited the dose-dependent behavior of cytotoxicity. This study implies the usability of carbon-based nanomaterials to treat cancer cells.
