▎ 摘 要
We report the fabrication of a non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor using a novel phyto-extract (Aconitum heterophyllum plant root) modified reduced graphene oxide for detection of glucose. Electrochemical studies conducted on the material revealed the previously unexplored electrocatalytic properties due to the immobilized phyto-extract. Selective glucose sensitivity (61.76 mu A/mM cm(2)) at 0 V vs Ag/AgCl in citrate phosphate buffer solution in the presence of a few common interfering compounds like urea, creatinine, NaCl, etc. and a very linear response in a diagnostically relevant range (0.3-33.3 mM) suggest the practical applicability of the synthesized material as a non-enzymatic accurate amperometric glucose sensor in blood/urine.
