▎ 摘 要
For the first time, a scaling study of a one-dimensional graphene based photonic crystal (GPC) using the transfer matrix method (TMM) is presented. The first layer of the unit cell of the GPC consists of a graphene multi-layer system separated by dielectric stripes and the second layer is dielectric medium. First, we focused on the band gap of the GPCs with different thicknesses of the layers and the dielectric between the graphene stripes. It is concluded that there is an optimal width in layers width, and the band gap of the GPCs can be tuned in the terahertz region by changing the thickness of the dielectric between the graphene stripes. Also, the effects of the angle of incidence and the state of polarization are investigated. Then, we focused on the effects of generating a defect mode within the photonic band gap and the effects of period numbers and layers width of the GPCs and the defect layer thickness was taken into account.
