▎ 摘 要
Transition metal sulfides are widely recognized as energy storage materials. An efficient and stable composite catalyst rGO-modified VS4 for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The structure, morphology, composition, and catalytic activity of the catalyst were detected by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectra, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and electrochemical methods. The results show a strong bond cooperation between VS4 and rGO that is in favor of the transfer of electrons during the catalytic process. Therefore, the composite catalyst possesses superior ORR activity, methanol tolerance, and long-time durability. This work provides a useful exploration for the development of inexpensive, efficient, and stable alternative catalysts for Pt/C. (c) 2022 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
