In recent decades, the excellent properties of vanadium oxides and sulfides have been incorporated into energy storage research; however, their drawbacks should not be ignored. In this case, graphene, in virtue of its remarkable conductivity, has been introduced to fabricate electrode materials with higher capacitance for batteries and supercapacitors. This review describes a variety of effective synthetic methods for preparing VOx@Graphene and VSx@Graphene nanocomposites. Their application in LIBs, LSBs, and SCs possesses high, practical, and economic value and are revealed in this paper by analyzing the electrochemical characterization images.
