▎ 摘 要
In their interesting study (Tribol Lett 70:113, 2022) Wei et al. have concluded that maxima in the energy dissipation rate as a function of external excitation frequency, as observed in their MD simulations of a two-layer graphene system, are due to a resonance between the excited phonons and the natural frequencies of the system vibrations. This hypothesis does not look justified. The maxima in the dissipation rate can be explained in a logically more simple way, in terms of usual mechanical resonance that is general in its nature and should take place for any type of dissipation mechanism, phononic, electronic or any other.
