▎ 摘  要

Graphene oxide (GO) shows high capacity in adsorbing heavy metal ions, but the high dispersibility and hard regeneration of GO hinder the practical applications. Herein, we fabricated TiO2 with GO as TiO2-GO aerogel for the adsorption of Cu2+. Amorphous TiO2 nanoparticles were directly deposited on GO sheets to fabricate TiO2-GO composite, which was further lyophilized to obtain TiO2-GO aerogel. After careful characterizations, the adsorption isotherm of Cu2+ on TiO2-GO aerogel was determined with a huge adsorption capacity of 39.8 mg/g, very close to that of free GO (46.6 mg/g). The adsorption of Cu2+ on TiO2-GO aerogel showed a very fast kinetics and reached the equilibrium within 60 min. The kinetics could be fitted to pseudo-second-order model and intraparticle diffusion model. The decrease of pH and increase of ionic strength led to the inhibition of adsorption. By washing with HCl aqueous solution, TiO2-GO aerogel could be easily regenerated with minor decreases in adsorption capacity. The implications to the environmental applications of TiO2-GO aerogel are discussed.
