We investigated the intercalation of Bi at the graphene/Cu(111) substrate interface. The Bi atoms were found to intercalate with root 3 x root 3 and [2012] long-range orderings (LROs) at the interface irrespective of the graphene rotation angle. The [2012] LRO of the intercalated Bi atoms was clearly observed by scanning tunneling microscopy at high bias voltages, whereas the graphene lattice became apparent at low bias voltages. The graphene lattice was entwined with the Bi-induced [2012] LRO to afford various Moire patterns depending on the graphene rotation angle.
