▎ 摘 要
Graphene oxide (GO) and its composites have attracted widespread attentions as novel adsorbents for the adsorption of various heavy metal contaminants. Because of the unique physicochemical characteristics, they might become an excellent and most potential adsorbent. This review summarizes the application of GO and its composites as a superior adsorbent for the removal of heavy metal ions from water. The adsorption affinity and mechanisms, affecting factors and regeneration are highlighted. Moreover, the challenges for the commercial uses are discussed. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
