▎ 摘 要
The mechanical properties of materials based on graphene C62H20 and polyethylene (-CH2-CH2-)(n) have been studied using the semiempirical PM3 method, and visual models of molecules have been constructed. The calculated values of mechanical parameters show that these materials offer high flexibility and high strength. Orbital energies, ionization potentials, total energies of electrons, strength, and other parameters of the material have been calculated. The prospects for using these light materials in machine engineering to produce superhard thin protective coatings on car bumpers have been discussed. The minimal thickness of the protective coating that provides safety in collisions of cars with given weight and velocity has been determined.
