▎ 摘 要
This research is conducted with the objective of developing a multi-functional finishing on cotton fabric for improving different properties such as self-cleaning, antibacterial, ultraviolet blocking, mechanical, and electrical conductivity. To this end, zinc stannate nanophotocatalyst and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) are successfully synthesized and used for multifunctional treatment of cotton fabrics. Self-cleaning properties under sunlight irradiation and antibacterial activities against two common pathogenic bacteria including Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus are characterized on finished cotton samples. Electrical resistance and color of treated fabrics are also assessed. Electrical conductivity of the RGO-coated fabrics is improved significantly due to presence of RGO on the surface of cotton fabrics. The treated cotton fabrics with zinc stannate nanocomposite show 61.7% photocatalytic self-cleaning activity measured by degradation of methylene blue in aqueous solution under sunlight irradiation. Also, the zinc stannate nanocomposite-coated cotton samples possess excellent antibacterial activity.
