▎ 摘 要
Utilization of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) based resins for manufacturing composites is an environment friendly and cost effective solution. This study attempts to explore the influence of graphene nanoplatelets (GPnP) addition on the fatigue performance of glass fiber reinforced composites based on recycled PET in terms of S-N Data, area of hysteresis loops during fatigue loading, fatigue life distributions, self generated temperature during fatigue loading and stiffness degradation. Incorporation of GPnP in rPET-UPR based composites brings their fatigue performance at par with virgin polyester resin based composites. Statistical analysis of fatigue life data using two parameter Weibull distribution established that GPnP addition has only marginal effect in increasing dispersion in fatigue lives.
