▎ 摘 要
This is the first study to successfully manufacture nonwoven fabrics capable to absorb uremic toxins, based on Nylon 6 incorporating graphene nanoplatelets modified with amino groups and carbon black modified with carboxylic groups by melt-blowing. The non-woven fabrics presented good mechanical properties, specifically the % elongation increased from 77 % of pure Nylon 6 to 98.4 % with the Nylon-6/GNP/CB 0.50% sample. The non-woven fabrics showed a greater efficiency in the removal of creatinine and uric acid with 81 and 88%, respectively with the same sample. In addition, 90% of urea was removed during 3 h with 10 min after simu-lating a dialysis for 4 h, with the 0.25% Nylon-6/GNP/CB non-woven fabric. This method can be used to manufacture a new membrane for filtration and separation of uremic toxins from the blood stream.
