▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Forming graphene oxide (GO) film on substrate comprises depositing GO ink on surface of porous substrate, and mechanically removing excess ink on the surface of the porous substrate while simultaneously providing pressure difference that forces liquid medium of the ink through the porous substrate to provide GO film on the surface of the porous substrate. The solvent comprises ethanol. The ink further comprises crosslinkers, viscosity modifiers, surface tension modifiers, defoamers, thixotrophy modifiers, and/or binders. The GO ink consists essentially of graphene oxide dispersed in ethanol. The porous substrate comprises organic polymer. The organic polymer comprises nylon, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, polyacrylonitrile polysulfone, polyethersulfone, polyvinylidene difluoride, mixed cellulosic organic ester, cellulose acetate, thermoplastic polycarbonate, and/or thermoplastic polyester. USE - The method is useful for forming graphene oxide film on substrate, used in membrane-based water management, e.g. air dehumidification, solvent or gas dehydration, membrane-based cooling, liquid phase separations e.g. reverse osmosis, nano/ultra-filtration, desalination technologies using pervaporation and membrane-gap distillation. ADVANTAGE - The method: provides graphene oxide films, which has better selectivity for water vapor versus other vapors and gases e.g. nitrogen gas while maintaining similar permeance (pore size) and film thickness; and has ability to use less liquid medium while utilizing the self-limiting nature of filtration to help heal film defects. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIMS is also included for membrane formed by the method. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The figure depicts schematic diagram of vacuum-assisted doctor blading method of forming graphene oxide film. 2Graphene oxide ink 4Flat porous substrate 8Lower surface 10Scraping device 15Flat porous ceramic plate
