NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-modified glycolic acid polymer involves grafting functionalized graphene and glycolic acid polymer, or physically blending functionalized graphene with glycolic acid polymer. USE - Preparation of graphene-modified glycolic acid polymer used for preparing degradable material for preparing packaging film, barrier film, mulching film, fiber, plate, sheet and bar, and used in oil and gas field mining operations for processing and forming underground tool component (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a graphene-modified degradable material, which comprises a matrix resin comprising a degradable resin, and the graphene-modified glycolic acid polymer; and (2) preparation of the graphene-modified degradable material, which involves melt-blending the degradable resin and the graphene-modified glycolic acid polymer, and extruding.
