NOVELTY - Preparing modified graphene oxide comprises e.g. weighing graphite oxide, ethanol, catalyst, silane coupling agent and alcohol B, adding the graphite oxide in the alcohol A, stirring, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain the graphene oxide dispersion liquid, adding the catalyst into the graphene oxide dispersion liquid obtained step (i) to obtain the mixed solution A, adding silane coupling agent and ethanol B mixing and stirring to obtain the mixed solution B, mixing the mixed solution B in the mixed solution A, and stirring and reacting. USE - The method is useful for preparing modified graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has excellent heat resistance and molding property and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing modified graphene oxide comprises (i) weighing graphite oxide, ethanol, catalyst, silane coupling agent and alcohol B, adding the graphite oxide in the alcohol A, stirring, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain the graphene oxide dispersion liquid, (ii) adding the catalyst into the graphene oxide dispersion liquid obtained step (i) to obtain the mixed solution A, (iii) adding silane coupling agent and ethanol B mixing and stirring to obtain the mixed solution B, mixing the mixed solution B in the mixed solution A, and stirring at 25 to 75 degrees C and reacting, and filtering and drying to obtain the modified graphene oxide, where the , graphite oxide, ethanol, catalyst, silane coupling agent and the ratio of ethanol B is 0.1-0.5 g:50-250 ml: 0.05-0.65 g:1.5-10 g: 10-65 ml. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing magnesium oxide and silicon dioxide nano hybrid material comprises (i) weighing the modified graphene oxide mixed solvent, ammonia, ethyl orthosilicate and adding the modified graphene oxide into the mixed solvent, stirring and ultrasonic dispersing to obtain the modified graphene oxide dispersion liquid, (ii) adding the concentrated ammonia, modified graphene oxide dispersion liquid, stirring uniformly, and obtaining mixed solution C, (iii) dripping the ethyl orthosilicate to the solution C and mixing, and stirring and reacting at temperature of 25-65 degrees C, carrying out suction filtration, washing, and drying, to obtain MGO-SiO2 nano hybrid material, modified graphene oxide, mixing solvent, ratio of the concentrated ammonia water and ethyl orthosilicate is 0.1-0.5 g:100-500 ml:0.10-1 ml:1-10 g.
