▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Flame retardant comprises 10-20 pts. wt. rectorite, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. graphene, 0.3-0.8 pt. wt. sepiolite, 0.3-2 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 1-3 pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 0.3-0.8 pt. wt. quaternary ammonium salt, 1-3 pts. wt. crosslinking agent, 0.1-0.3 pt. wt. initiator, 0.01-0.05 pt. wt. chain extender and 10-30 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Flame retardant. ADVANTAGE - The flame retardant is activated under high temperature conditions to increase the interlayer spacing, reduces surface energy of rectorite through the modification treatment of the quaternary ammonium salt, has excellent flame retardancy and wide applicability, and is halogen-free, safe and environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the flame retardant, involving (a) calcining rectorite at 600-800 degrees C for 1-2 hours, mixing with quaternary ammonium salt and performing ultrasonic dispersion for 30-40 minutes to obtain a pre-treated product and (b) mixing the pre-treated product with graphene and sepiolite, adding into a reactor, heating at 100-200 degrees C, adding epoxy resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, crosslinking agent, initiator, chain extender and deionized water, continuously stirring, reacting for 1-2 hours, washing, filtering and drying to obtain the product.
