NOVELTY - A copper selenide-graphene polycrystalline composite comprises copper selenide grains, and graphene arranged on grain boundary of the copper selenide grains. USE - Copper selenide-graphene polycrystalline composite is used as thermoelectric material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The copper selenide-graphene polycrystalline composite has low thermal conductivity and high Seebeck coefficient, and can be manufactured with suppressed aggregation even at high temperature of more than 800 K. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of the composite, which involves mixing graphene source and copper selenide powder, obtaining coating powder, and subjecting resultant to plasma sintering; and (2) thermoelectric material.
