▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Cadmium sulfide/anti-stacked graphene composite photocatalyst comprises cadmium sulfide nanoparticles and anti-stacked graphene, where content of anti-stacked graphene is 5-70 wt.%. USE - The photocatalyst is useful in selective oxidation of aromatic alcohol to corresponding aldehyde under visible light (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photocatalyst: has high conversion efficiency and high selectivity; and can be easily recycled. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparation of the composite photocatalyst, comprising (i) mixing melamine, 37 wt.% formaldehyde and water, refluxing for 10 minutes at 70 degrees C to obtain a clear solution, adding aqueous graphene oxide solution into the clear solution, refluxing at 98 degrees C for 3 hours, then centrifuging, washing and drying to obtain anti-stacked graphene oxide, and (ii) carrying out ultrasonic dispersion of cadmium acetate dihydrate and anti-stacked graphene oxide in dimethyl sulfoxide solution, mixing by stirring for 1 hour, the adding obtained solution into a reaction kettle, carrying out solvothermal reaction at 180 degrees C for 12 hours, cooling, centrifuging, washing, and drying to obtain final product; and (2) use method of the photocatalyst, comprising carrying out oxidation of aromatic alcohol in presence of the photocatalyst by irradiating with visible light (at a wavelength of more than 420 nm) for 2 hours to obtain corresponding aldehyde, where the catalyst shows conversion rate of 90% and selectivity of 72%.
